Accelerated Gamers have interviewed Alfred Reynolds, the creater of AdminMod. Here is a preview:
How do you feel about AdminMod being made illegal in play, by certain game play league's?
Alfred: Is it? I can't understand why, Admin Mod is server side only. Due to the ability to have user levels and plugins you would be able to remove any commands you didn't like (perhaps the disco mode ones?). Quite a few very large leagues use Admin Mod because of its ability to ease management of servers, some have even payed us money to add functionality to Admin Mod :) (www.boomtown.net for example). In the end though we write Admin Mod to help the guy trying to run a server and make it fun. Leagues have the money and time to use people to solve their admin problems.
