Commando (3DAP) has sent over word of something a tad strange. Apparently he was in a 'Game' shop in cambridge and noticed a commercial CS map pack being sold for a price of £15! Apparently it offers around 1000 CS maps on CD and comes boxed too. They have a website set up but there's nothing on it yet, other than a pic of the package. Here's what Commando had to say:"I saw yesterday (In the UK) a DVD case with a rendered Counter Strike cover and the label 'Mods and Maps', it claims to hold over 1000 maps for CS. On the back it had basic info in several different languages, basically it was a huge map pack for CS. System specs say it requires CS. Interestingly it claims to have a website www.modsandmaps.com which doesn't exist. The price tag was £15, I'm pretty sure this is illegal, I doubt they got 1000 people's permission, have you heard anything about this? I found it in Game in Cambridge.Commando

I am doubtful as to whether they have the permission of 1000 map authors so if anyone has any further info about it the drop me a mail...it may be totally legit but I'm curious. The email address given on the site is german so I presume they're from there.
