Angel Munoz (President of the CPL) has decided to revise certain league decisions after extensive communication with the gaming community:"First, the CPL will reverse its previous decision to fully implement the ESRB rules in 2002, and will continue allowing 16 year olds to participate in CPL tournaments featuring M-rated titles, as long as a signed parental release is presented during registration at the events. Also, the CPL has concluded that the version of Counter-Strike (CS) that will be used at the World Championship tournament will in fact have an explosive device, with the exact same physics, as gamers from all over the world have been using for their local and online competitions.
As previously announced, the special CS version will add the capability to enter clan names, and will support only two models: French GIGN and Leet Krew. The CPL also maintained the requirement that players use their surnames at live CPL matches."
