Valve ERC have reviewed the recently released, ‘De_Eggfart’ by Mazy.
It’s definitely not one of the more conventional Counter-Strike maps around and might be worth a look if you’re hankering for something a little different:
"Visually the map is sound, with good texturing and architecture. What stole the show though was, of course, the custom textures. The giant Pringles looked like giant Pringles, as did the Twix bars scattered on every corner. With these things included the map felt like pop art, I keep wondering if maybe I missed the giant Campbells soup tin.Ambience in this map is suprisingly good, and this seems like a perfect time to mention something. There are two versions of this map, one set at night and one during the day. This review is based on the night version, and by clicking the download link up top that’s just what you’ll get. But if you feel like catching some rays, wait till the end of the show and we’ll give you a link to where you can get the sunny version. Delight."
