Ok, time to bring you up to date with the latest Clanbase EuroCup IV results. First up, on Tuesday, All* took on MAFIA in what many presumed would be a close match, although MAFIA were surely favorites. The format of the match was 2x2x20 minutes on de_dust using Charges Only rules, meaning they played 20 minutes as T and CT, then repeated it again.The first map was extremely close but MAFIA took a slender lead picking up 7 as T, compared to the 6 rounds All* managed. The second map however, brought a little surprise as MAFIA could only manage 2 rounds as T, with some great defense by the All* lads. Alas, All* only needed 4 rounds to win the match outright and it was all over after only 10 mins, however by the end of the match they had scored 13 taking the overall score to 19-9 (Full Report?)
Come Thursday it was the turn of four more top clans to battle it out. First up were Plague and Schroet Kommando, two of Germany's top clans, battling it out on de_train under the same 2x2x20 format. Again the favourites were, perhaps surprisingly, upstaged by the 'under-dogs', so to speak. Plague shows some great skill throughout the match and managed to win 10-9 over the course of the match, again the match was won before time was up with [P] only needing four rounds in their last attempt as Ts (Full Report?).
Finally some favourites came out on top when CSA.eu defeated rW in an exciting match on de_train. As the 16-10 final score suggests, it certainly wasn't easy for CSA but they defended well in the last round, only allowing rW 6 rounds, instead of the 13 needed (Full Report?).
