SaVaCe - Isn't everybody ;0?

SaVaCe - Sure, well I'll try and do it month by month ( don't flame me if I get the month wrong). First of all I was in -CSA- and was asked to go to i7 with clan SLDR. I then decided to leave -CSA- and play in clan SLDR online as well. SLDR then folded and I tried to be some sort of a leader and tried to re-form the clan After Shock with Bladerees but I realised that I was too immature to lead a clan. All I wanted to do was join 4Kings (at the time the best clan in the UK by far). I remember endless bummer messages to TheGenuis. I was then asked by an old mate oNfIRe to join clan nocturne.uk, so I agreed. We were absolutely S**T but we owe our success to our German side and mainly KOBA who trained us well. We started off strong and were high in CBUK which at the time I thought was good but now I realise that it's the worst ladder ever. Since then noc have had their up and downs and I believe that we are slowly getting better and will reach top of UK again against our arch rivals 4K :). And that about brings us up to now.

SaVaCe - I asked 4K a lot but 4K were already operating at a profesional level, something I was not use to, TheGenius thought I was too immature, and I now admit I was :)

SaVaCe - Within the last few months I've grown up IRL in general but when I realised that top clans need to visit LANs I discovered that it's not such a good idea to call some one a "MOTHER F***ING PR**K FACE C**T" Because they killed me :). Simply because they will hurt my body if i did. Used to love the LAN threats "U AT NEXT LAN SAV ARE U?" So great :)

SaVaCe - There was one occasion at i7 (at the time I was a socially retarded g33k who couldn't speak to human beings unless through IRC) with this bloke Fly (from that notorious KK Vs # demo). I flew into his IRC channel and spammed "MOTHER F***ING PR**K CHEATER FLY" I was sitting at my PC at i7 minding my own business when this guy comes up to me and says "You got something you want to say to me" at first I was like "Hmmm no I don't believe I do" He then said "I'm Fly from clan KK u called me a cheat in my IRC room when you didnt know the full situation" I quickly responded saying I was sorry and then carried on with my game. That's about all the trouble I have had.

SaVaCe - Now I only insult people that deserve insulting but I can say I do think about the consequences now and as far as I'm concerned, if I insult someone on IRC it's for a good enough reason to do it IRL :). In other words, what I say on IRC I would not hesitate to say at LAN to someone's face.

SaVaCe - All in all I'm slightly going off the CS Scene simply because it's so bad. Sitting in IRC For hours on end chatting a lot of bull no longer interests me, nor does playing a game for endless hours getting called cheater or being killed by one. The only time I play CS now is in a clan match, as within a clan match you dont get any slagging off and childish people constantly using the word "Gay" and "cheat".

SaVaCe - Yes, and I feel I will always be able to. Playing CS well is like being able to ride a bike, you can either do it or you can't, and you never forget how to play. I may be rusty for a couple of maps but I soon warm up and start operating at normal level it's all ok :)

SaVaCe - Because my school didn't grant me a weeks leave because I already have a 60% attendance record, but not to worry I finish school in 5 months w0000.

SaVaCe - no :) mainly I'm too lazy and "forget" to wake up on time and then its to late to go anyway :)

SaVaCe - I feel doing anything too much will affect your performance at school, and I do believe that CS does affect your performance at school. It used to take up all of my free time and so I had no time to study and complete coursework. I began to think "I don't really give a f**k". It gives you an attitude problem and makes you unable to socialise (but not in all cases).

SaVaCe - In 5 months I'll be surprised if I'm still around. I'm still not sure whether I'm going to college or getting an apprenticeship or being a waster all my life. I'm sure I'll decide soon ;)

SaVaCe - lol, well you see noc make the mistake of thinking we're the best at the game and so don't actually practice at all. What surprised me is when the team loses a tourny they are shocked. For instance the CPL UK Qualifier, the last game vs. 4K 13-1? 14-1? (not quite sure), to me was not a surprising result as we hadn't practiced at all and so I went not expecting to win. 4K was a better clan than noc.uk and I'm sure we could have evened the scores out maybe to something a lot closer, but once a victory was secured the match was ended.

SaVaCe - At the moment I'm not really sure as I'm not really involved in noc.uk internal affairs, and so I am unaware of what standard they are playing at. I still think noc dropped a long way behind 4K and I still think that 4K could beat noc on a LAN but not online (HAHAHA)

SaVaCe - Online we can cheat? j/k :)

SaVaCe - Noc was formed of people with lives and people who could not dedicate a lot of time to the game. Most members have a very good social life outside of CS so it's hard for the team to keep a schedule. Ross left because he found it hard balancing both aspects of CS and real life within his life as well as a job.

SaVaCe - Not exactly, I mean I'm not saying if you play CS then you can't have a social life, I'm sure that some players within clans such as nip have a great social life, but then there's Median. What I'm saying is that it is hard for some people to balance a social life with a gaming life and some choose to give up one for the other whereas others can cope.

SaVaCe - I'm sure noc.uk will enter CPL UK quals as usual and I expect they will enter thinking they will win as usual. Whether they will or not will depend on how much they practice. I think noc.uk's performance in the next CPL could either signal the end of noc.uk or signal a great new start. I feel nocturne will be around as long as CS is still being played. We have some very dedicated players who will never give up (Greedy Greg). I think it's safe to say that as long as the game's being played and there's money to be won, noc.uk will be around (but don't quote me on this when they fold).

SaVaCe - Hmm. I think that a game being released that is better than CS is not a "will it be released" question, it's a "when will it be released". I'm sure as technology advances some ub3r g33k will invent a game better than CS but I don't see that happening in the near future

SaVaCe - I used to cheat as a n00b. I used spiked models up until the CS team fixed it and I couldn't find any more. I think it's better cheating and quitting, as I think someone who has never cheated is more likley to cheat than someone who has done it and given up.

SaVaCe - As bad as it sounds I think it makes a better player in the end. I'm aware of many top CS players who used to cheat when they first started. It gives you the edge at the start and when you quit you find you can do better than you could when you cheated. For instance, cheating puts a limit on how well you can perform, the best CS player in the world vs. the best CS cheater in the world - who would win? I think that the best CS player in the world would. While I cheated I was completly unaware of the sound in CS, as soon as I stopped I realised that using sound is like a 6th sense.

SaVaCe - Hyprocritical it may be but when I see a cheat I do not think "oh he's ok, he's just cheating for a bit while he gets some skill" I think "there's some mother f**king pr**k here ruining my game".

SaVaCe - Yes I was and I'm sure I got some people really pissed off and got them thinking "eh how he know I was there". If you wanna get to the top you have to step on people to get there.

SaVaCe - I'm 15 at the moment, 16 in January - still a young lad :)

SaVaCe - My age doesn't really affect my gaming life that much apart from the fact that others may change their opinion of me.

SaVaCe - My mates at school know nothing of this life I lead or did lead as a person sitting in every night playing computer games and I'm sure if they found out they wouldn't really care and would proberbly think it's "cool".

SaVaCe - Yes but I don't really think that far ahead. I take each day as it comes. If we had won I'm sure I would have sorted some thing out :)

SaVaCe - Hmmm. Naming the most influential person is opinion based, someone who influences me may not influence someone else. At the moment I would say that no one is influential to me but when I first started the game I would say that "4K^Liquid" was the most influential person to me.

SaVaCe - I always wanted the grenade system to be changed. With the current system you can buy 1 HE 2 Flashes and 1 Smoke, I think this should be changed so that the system alows up to 4 Grenades of any type. I mean in real life what's the difference from carrying 1 smoke 1 HE and 2 Flashed to 4 Flashes?

SaVaCe - Ye but a better idea I'm sure a lot more tactics would include the usage of grenades :)
